Belated- Konfirmation

Hallo ihr Lieben,

zur Zeit ist wieder die Zeit der Konfirmationen. Dieses Jahr ist es besonders heftig bei uns, da mein Freund seine Nichte und meine beiden Brüder konfirmiert wurden. Nicht nur zeitlich eine Herausforderung, sondern auch in der Karten Gestaltung :)

it is already confirmation time here. And this year it was really hard, because by boyfriends nice and my two brothers had confirmation. It was not only time challenging, but also crafting technically.

Im Prinzip hatte ich drei verschiedene Modelle, die alle nur minimal voneinander abweichen. Die Herausforderung bestand darin, die Karten so zu verteilen, dass nicht die ein oder andere Konfirmand/in zwei mal die selbe Kart erhält ;)

I just made three different card types which were changed just a bit. I guess the most difficult part were to distribute the cards that one person didn't received the same card twice ;)

Ich hoffe euch gefallen meine Konfirmationskarten. Sie mögen vielleicht nicht ganz klassisch sein, allerdings sind Konfirmanden in der Regel Teenager, und ich wollte sie glücklich machen. Sie haben sich auch wirklich sehr gefreut :)

I hope you liked my cards. I didn't want to make the cards classy, just because confirmands are in the age of teens and I wanted to make them happy. And they were all happy.

Clearly Besotted May Release Teaser Day 5

Leider ist es heute schon so weit :( der letzte Tag Clearly Besotted Release Teaser ist angebrochen. Es war so eine schöne Zeit und ich bin wirklich stolz darauf dabei gewesen zu sein. Wie bereits erwähnt wird es die Stempel heute Abend an 23h im Shop zum kaufen geben. Das Hier ist das Set "Feeling Fruity" und es ist einfach nur süß.

unfortunately this is thy last Release Teaser Day. It was a really fun time and I´m really proud to have been there beside great carmakers and (Guest) Design Team from Clearly Besotted Stamps. All Stamps will be available at the shop at 10pm (23h MEST). Here you see me using the set "Feeling Fruity" and it is simply cute :)

Ich denke Bilder sagen mehr als Worte, oder? Deshalb denke ich nicht, dass ich noch groß etwas erzählen muss, außer dass die Tierchen mit den Copic Markern gemalt wurden und das die Stanford von Pretty Pink Posh ist. So, ich denke das wars.. Und ich hoffe euch hat der Release Teaser gefallen und ich wünsche euch heute Abend ein frohes Shoppen :)

I guess pictures say it all, right? And I don't need to tell you anything more. All the images were colored with Copic Markers and the die I´ve used is from Pretty Pink Posh. Soo.. I think that it´s. I hope you all liked my Release Teaser and I wish you all happy buying to night :)

Clearly Besotted May Release Teaser Day 4

Hallo ihr Lieben,

oh mein Gott.. heute ist schon der 4. Tag vom Clearly Besotted Release Teaser. Ich kann es kaum glauben, wie schnell die Zeit vergangen ist. Ich konnte den Teaser kaum abwarten, und jetzt ist er schon fast um. Aber Leute! Ganz ruhig hier! Denn heute habe ich diese mehr als süßen Euern- Kind- Tierchen. Und weil ich mich nicht entscheiden konnte welches ich euch heute zeige, zeige ich euch alle drei. 

Oh my goodness.. it is already the 4th Clearly Besotted Release Teaser day. I can't believe how fast the time passed. I couldn't wait for the release to start and now it is almost over. But, keep calm and keep crafting :D Today I have this cute little mummy/daddy and child critters. I love them. And I couldn't decide which one to show you, so I decided to show all 3 cards I made. 

 Um meine Tierchen anzumalen habe ich meine Copic Marker verwendet. Ich wollte dass der Fokus auf dem Hintergrund liegt, den ich mit der Ink Smooching Technik eingefärbt habe. Und es hat so viel Spaß gemacht. Heute gibt es nur einen kleinen Post, dafür mehr Karten ;) Ich hoffe euch haben auch diese Werke gefallen. Mir auf jeden Fall und ich denke das Set hat es auf meine Clearly Besotted Favoriten Stempel Liste geschafft. Wir sehen uns also morgen, leider schon zum letzten Mal, zum 5. Tag des Teasers. Morgen Abend, am 5. Mai, um 23h werden die Stempel und passenden Dies zum Verkauf zur verfügung stehen. 

For the critters I used my Copic markers to color them in. The focus I wanted to be on the background. Here I did some ink smooching, and I really enjoyed it :D Today it is just a smaller post with lots of cards. I hope you liked this one also. I guess this set happens to be one of my favorite from all Clearly Besotted stamp sets. So I hope we will see us tomorrow, unfortunately for the last post. The stamps and coordinating dies are going to be released on May, 5th at 23h (MEST).

Clearly Besotted May Release Teaser Day 3

Hallo und willkommen zurück,

 für den 3. Tag vom Clearly Besotted Stamps Release Teaser. Als ich zum 1. Mal die Blume gesehen habe, war ich total verliebt. Und ich liebe es noch mehr, weil es sich hierbei um ein kleines Set (To you with love) handelt. Ich mag diese kleinen Sets total gerne, weil sie auf den Punkt gebracht sind. Oft muss man sich die großen Sets kaufen, benutzt aber nur einen Stempel. Bei den Kleinen ist das anders, und bei diesem hier noch mehr :)

welcome back for day 3 of Clearly Besotted Stamps Release Teaser. When I first saw this flower, I totally felt in love. And I loved it even more because it is a 3"x4" set. I love this smaller sets, because they are cheaper and sometimes you don't need so many extra stamps. 

Ich habe die Blumen mit dem Distress Ink "antique linen" auf Aquarellpapier gestempelt. Ich wollte die Blumen ausmalen, ohne dass man einen Rand sieht. Ich finde diese Technik hat hier einfach perfekt hingepasst. Um die Blumen anzumalen habe ich meine Zig Real Color Brush Pens und meine old Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush Pen verwendet. Ich benutze meinen alten, und mehrfach aufgefüllten Wink of Stella, da man ihn als Wassertankpinsel verwenden kann. Meiner wurde bestimmt schon 5-6 mal aufgefüllt und er lässt immer noch ein bisschen Glitzer ab. 

I stamped the images with antique linen Distress ink on water color paper, because I wanted to do a no-line coloring. I found this technique just perfectly for the flowers. To color the images I used my Zig Real Color Brush Pens and my old Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush Pen, which I use as a water brush pen. I love it because it is really cheap and you still get a little bit of glitter out of it :)

Clearly Besotted May Release Teaser Day 2

heute ist Tag zwei des Clearly Besotted Stamps Teaser. Wenn ihr wissen wollt, was ich gestern vorgestellt habe, dann schaut dort nochmal vorbei. Heute zeige ich euch aber dieses süße Ehepaar: Mr And Mrs Hoot.

today is day two of Clearly Besotted Stamps Teaser. If you want to know what I showed yesterday, so please click here. Today I´ll show you this super cute wedding couple: Mr and Mrs Hoot.

Die Karte habe ich sehr schlicht gehalten. Ich habe lediglich das Pärchen mit Memento Tuxedo Black  auf ein ausgestanztes Quadrat von My Favorite Things gestempelt und anschließend mit meinen Copic Markern ausgemalt. Anschließend habe ich das Quadrat in einen quadratischen Rahmen (ebenfalls von My Favorite Things ausgestanzte) geklebt. Um den Rahmen anzumalen habe ich die selben lila farbenen Copic Marker verwendet, die ich auch zum einfärben der Eulen verwendet habe. Den Spruch habe ich mit dem Smoky Slate Stempelkissen von Stampen Up gestempelt. Um das Ganze noch ein bisschen abzurunden kamen ein paar Pailletten von Pretty Pink Posh drauf und eine kleine Schleife.

I just stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo black ink on a die cut square from My Favorite Things. The image were colored with my Copic markers. I simply inlayed the colored square in a square frame, also die cut from the stitched square. For coloring the frame I used the same purple Copic Markers. I stamped the sentiment with the smoky slate ink from Stamping Up. To finish up the card I just scattered some Pretty Pink Posh sequins over the card and glued a bow.

Clearly Besotted May Release Teaser Day 1

Hallo ihr Lieben,

ich bin so glücklich euch mitteilen zu dürfen, dass ich diesen Monat Gast Designer für Clearly Besotted Stamps bin. Ich bin sehr sehr stolz darauf, weil Clearly Besotted bei weitem einer meiner beliebtesten Stempelfirmen ist und vor allem einer der Firmen, die ich zuerst kennen gelernt habe. Seit dem bin ich auch süchtig und tätige jeden Monat am 5. um 23h meine Bestellung :D An dieser Stelle möchte ich Stephanie nochmals für diese Chance danken.

Die Stempel werden wie immer am 5. Mai ab 23 Uhr (MEST) im Shop zu kaufen sein.

I´m so excited to tell you that this month I´m going to guest design for Clearly Besotted Stamps. I´m really honored, because they are one of my favorite stamp companies and one of the first I knew. And since then I´m addicted and place my order each month on the 5th at 11pm :D At this point I want to thank you, Stephanie, for this great opportunity.

Zuerst möchte ich euch das Set "Cool Dude" zeigen. Ich fand die kleinen Schildkröten einfach nur lustig. Da es so viele verschiedene Schildkröten gibt, wollte ich eine Szene machen. Hier könnt ihr sie schwimmend in den Wellen sehen. Sehen sie nicht cool aus mit den Sonnenbrillen auf? :D

First I want to start with the Set "Cool Dude". I found the little turtles so funny. And as they are a lot of different turtles I wanted to create a scene. Here you see them swimming in the waves :) And aren't they cool with the sunglasses :D 

Hier könnt ihr hoffentlich alles besser erkennen. Ich habe drei Aufleger Transparentpapier in Wellenform übereinander geklebt. Jedes Transparentpapier ist mit verschiedenen Stempelabdrücken mit Hilfe von VersaMark gestempelt worden und dann mit weißen Embossingpulver erhitzt. Ich wollte, dass es der Karte ein bisschen mehr Tiefe verleiht. Zudem habe ich die Schildkröten zwischen die Transparentpapieraufleger geklebt, so sieht es aus als würden die Schildkröten in den Wellen schwimmen :)

Here you see a closer look at the scene. I glued three layers of vellum-waves one over top the other. On each layer I stamped some images with VersaMark and heat embossed them in white. I find the card becomes more deepness. I glued the turtles between the layers, so it gives the impression that they are swimming in between the waves.

Video Sonntag: Eine Karte für dich

Hallo ihr Lieben,

heute zeige ich euch, wie man mit einfachsten Mitteln einfacher aber gleichzeitig sehr schöne Karten für jeden Anlass zaubern kann. Oft sieht man etwas, möchte es nach basteln und stellt fest, man hat nicht das passende Material. Dann ist es so, man schaut was benötigt wird, kauft alles ein und ist um viele Euros leichter. Ich habe heute mal Stempelkissen verwendet, die eigentlich nicht für diese Art von Technik (Aquarell) gedacht ist und habe es trotzdem versucht. Ich finde das Ergebnis kann sich sehen lassen.

today I want to show you how to create a card with the simplest things you have. Sometime you see a card and you want to make it. often you don't have all the supplies. What do you do? The most of you would buy everything and then try to make the card. But try doing the card without these materials. Try to use your supplies how they weren't intended to. This is what I did here. I used this ink pads even if they are pigment inks for making aquarelle-styled card. And it worked!

Und noch etwas wollte ich euch zeigen: Wenn ihr einen Fehler macht, nicht direkt alles in die Mülltonne werfen, versucht das beste draus zu machen. Im Nachhinein wird es keinem mehr auffallen und man hat viel Material und Zeit gespart. Fehler sind menschlich und gehören dazu, denn schließlich sind wir keine Maschinen, und manchmal helfen sie uns noch besser zu werden ;) In diesem Sinne: Viel Spaß beim Video gucken und noch einen schönen 1. Mai.

And there is something more I want to show you. Crafter tend to be perfect and want to do everything perfect. When it comes to a mistake, often people simply throw everything away and start from the beginning. But not always there is a need to. Very often there is a chance to fix it. In this sense: have fun watching my video and me making mistakes :D Happy 1st May (Here in Germany it is a holiday)
