Hummingbirds and Cherry Blossoms

Hello crafty friends, 

maybe you got that some crafty friends and I had a great weekend with lots of chatting, crafting and having fun. The cards I wanted to show you were mostly done with supplies I borrowed from my friends. 

At the Moment I'm having a crafty hangover. I guess I had so much trouble at the moment, that it became a big effort to go to my crafty table and make something creative. I have to admit, that my heart is broken as crafting is my love. Normally it helps me feeling better and relaxes. And this made me sad and I was struggling if it would make sense to go on a crafty weekend without wanting really to craft. But I went. 

And I´m glad I did. I went there to meet the most incredible crafty peeps we have here. They are so funny, we had great talks about everything, we had workshops and they had great supplies :D I felt like in heaven. I went trough their places looking for supplies I don't own. So I went home with six cards and not even one stamp set was mine. 

I'm sorry I talked so much about my problems and feeling at the moment. Maybe it makes you understand better my abstinence and poor posting. 

For my card. I started with coloring both stamp sets I borrowed from Annika Lerche. I stamped the sets with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and started coloring the images with my Copic markers. As mentioned I was struggling with getting creative and my best tipp for this kind of problem: take a stamp set you really love, stamp and color it. Nothing fancy, just playing. Sometime I already have a card design I love which I just replicate. But this time not. I started coloring and then wen to the Brother Scan n Cut for fuzzy cutting. Then I remembered Yana Smakulas cards and how dimensional they are. So I went for this style. At the end I had two great cards. I was so happy for finding my way back to being creative.

I love you - Valentines day challenge

Hallo ihr Lieben, 

heute bin ich nur mit einem schnellen Post und einer schnellen Karte unterwegs. Zufällig passt sie auf zwei Sachen. Ich musste eine Valentinskarte für einen Mann machen, und gleichzeitig konnte ich so an der Pretty Pink Posh Valentinstag Challenge teilnehmen. Hierfür habe ich die süßen Umschläge aus dem Gratis-Set bei der Geburtstagsbestellung. Viel mehr werde ich auch nicht schreiben, da ich im Moment einfach nicht die Zeit finde. Heute war mein 1. Basteltag in dieser Woche... OMG!

Today I want to share with you a quick and easy valentines day card. It fits just perfect for two occasions: 1. I had to make a man kind valentines day card and 2. I want to participate at the Pretty Pink Posh valentines day Challenge. Here for I used the super cute envelopes from the free stamp set you got while PPP celebrated the second birthday. I´m sorry for this poor little post but unfortunately I didn't get the time to do anything. Today was my first crafting day this week.. OMG!

Hallo ihr Lieben,

Letzte Woche habe ich diese Schönheiten beim Zoll abgeholt. Leider ist es ein Weihnachtsset und es hat dieses Mal so lange gedauert, dass ich es nicht mehr rechtzeitig erhalten habe. Wohlgemerkt: Ich habe es am 27. November, am Black Friday, bestellt. Aber jetzt ist es da und ich wollte es benutzen.

last week I picked this guys at german duty. Unfortunately this set is a christmas set and this time it took so long that it didn´t arrive at time. I ordered on Black Friday. Now is it here and I wanted to use it. 

Mit dieser Karte möchte ich an der CAS(E) THIS SKETCH Challenge teilnehmen. Ich habe schon sehr lange nicht mehr dran teilgenommen. An und vor Weihnachten hat mir total die Zeit gefehlt. 

With this card I´m going to participate at CAS(E) THIS SKETCH Challenge. It passed a long time since I participated. Around christmas I did´t got the time for. 

So, dann hoffe ich jetzt mal, dass euch die Karte gefallen hat und wir uns ganz bald wieder sehen. Zur Weihnachtszeit werde ich euch dann natürlich die kleinen Tierchen im Weihnachtsoutfit präsentieren.

Lawnscaping Challenge #121

Hallo alle zusammen,

heute ist der Tag, an dem ich starte auf Englisch zu posten. Ich habe sehr viel Familie, viele Freunde & Fans in der ganzen Welt verteilt und ich möchte, das jeder die Möglichkeit hat zu lesen was ich schreibe ;)

today is the day where I start to post in english. I have a lot of family, friends and fans around the world and I want everybody to be able to read what I write. 

Heute möchte ich an der Lawnscaping Challenge teilnehmen. Irgendwie dachte ich ja, dass die Weihnachts- Winterzeit jetzt rum ist, aber wohl falsch gedacht. Das Thema ist nämlich "Winterszene". Da ich ja leider noch nicht so viele Lawn Fawn Stempel besitze, blieb mir nicht so viel Möglichkeit ;)

I´m going to participate at the Lawnscaping Challenge. I thought the christmas- winter season is already done, but this thought was wrong. This time the challenge is all about winter scenes. As I don't have that much Lawn Fawn Stamping sets, I didn't have so much opportunities ;)

Gestern kam meine neue Stanzform vom Pretty Pink Posh, diese wollte ich auch gleich benutzen. Außerdem habe ich hier das "Toboggan Together" Set von Lawn Fawn verwendet mit dem ich diese süße Winterszene kreiert habe. Zuerst wollte ich eine Schüttelkarte machen. Alles war soweit auch vorbereitet. Ich habe Stick It auf mein Moosgummi geklagt, dieses ausgestanzt und habe angefangen meine Szene zusammen zu setzen. Bis ich dann festgestellt habe, dass ich gar kein Acetat auf das "Cover" getan habe, somit gab es auch kein Schüttelfenster. So war meine erste Idee futsch und ich musste auf Plan B umschweifen. 

Yesterday arrived my new dies from Pretty Pink Posh which I wanted to use. I also used the "Toboggan Together" set from Lawn Fawn and created this cute winter scene. At the beginning I wantd to create a shaker card. I put Stick it to my fun foam and everything was done. I started to put the card together when I realized I forgot the Acetate for the shaker window. This is the point where I had to switch my idea :D

Ich hoffe dir hat diese kleine Winterszene und mein erster Post mit englischem Text gefallen. Wir sehen uns sicher ganz bald wieder. Die nächsten Karten stehen schon in denStartlöchern.
